Village Room | Minecraft Render and Wallpaper

I'm back with another render. This time, an old one.


I made this render a long time ago. I only found it the other day when I was cleaning out my dump folder for Chunky.


It's a happy little image -- quite peaceful feeling. I love the lines in the glass texture; they remind me of rain. I like that the trees can still be seen from out the windows and that they are blurry. That helps keep the focus in the room, where the lit fog and patch of light on the floor makes for a warm feeling. I find myself wanting to pull a book down from the shelf and plop down at a table to read.

Looking at this image now, from all that I have learned since making this one, I can tell a higher ray-depth would have really helped cut through the fog and make the colors pop.
