Can you find the creeper?
I fancied building a house on a hill. So I built a house on a very tall hill!
The concept of this little house is to be secluded from the world (that's why it's high up), but to be able to see it all (that's why there are windows one all of the structure.) and to still have good access to all the things you need.
There's a seating area in the left side of the house for eating, reading and relaxing. On the other side of the wall, there's a small bedroom. Keeping the room warm, is the forge -- the heart of the house. (When making the forge, I almost burned the whole place down! The fire only managed to spread to the tree, and luckily left most of the house structure intact. I ended up replanting the tree and adding more stone around the forge to keep those sparks from catching!) There's a greeting area with a nice plant and there are pantings throughout the house.
Leaving the house, there's is a glass-enclosed stairway that runs down in front of a gap in the hill. At the right time of morning or night, you will get sun- or moon-light flowing though the gap -- it can be gorgeous. At the bottom of the stairs is the farm area. You can see in the bottom of the image where the wheat farm is. I tried to get some pigs in the yard, but I think they ran off. Silly pigs.

Vision
Originality Technique ImpactWow, this is a very incredible build. It's a simple house but putting it up on the hill and having the glass so you can see the staircase gives it the feel that you can see the beautiful land, it makes it look so peaceful and yet, complex. The shading gives it a more realistic touch, and it looks like such a quiet and peaceful place, away fro a bustling settlement. People post Minecraft builds all the time, so I have to give you only four stars on the originality, but this is still one of the best Minecraft builds I've seen.
